    1. Grate the carrots.
    2. In a pan add ghee and then add the grated carrot. Carrot will shrink slightly. Then add 1/2 cup milk. Milk will reduce after sometime. Then add 1/2 cup sugar. Mix the sugar well till it dissolves.Add Khoya or mawa. Mix well to avoid any lumps.Add the cardamom powder. Garnish with nuts and raisins.
    3. In a greased tray add the gajar halwa. Form a block. Cool completely and rest for 30 mins. After 30 mins invert the tray. Gently tap on the tray to loosen the halwa. Cut squares.
