Get 250 gms Ivy Gourd (tondli)
Take 2 tbsp each seasame seeds, coriander powder, jaggery and grated coconut
Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder
Prepare 1/4 th tsp heeng
Prepare 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
Prepare 2 tsp red chilli powder
Take 2 tbsp oil
Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds
Take 1 tsp roasted garam masala
Make ready to taste salt
Instructions
Steps to make Stuff Tondli/Kundru/Ivy Gourd:
Wash and cut slit the Ivy Gourds as given in the photo.
For stuffing:- In a mixer grinder add peanuts, seasame, jaggery, coconut, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, garam masala and salt.
Grind everything into a powder.
Now stuff it in Ivy Gourd.
Stuff neatly.
Now in a pressure cooker heat oil add mustard seeds.
Now add stuffed Ivy Gourd. Add little water around 2 tbsp just to avoid burning.
Cover it with lid and take around two whistles. and remove it from flame.
Now once cooker gets cool remove the lid and sabzi is ready to serve. If you want you can again pan sear it.
Garnish it with coriander and some crushed peanuts. Serve it with nice soft butter roti's. ENJOY the meal..!
